Topic: How has blogging changed you?

rite..so i'm approaching my 2yr anniversary. haha

umm..it has been a wonderful time blogging and getting these thoughts off my head and although at times there were moments i felt like quitting or had like no ideas on what to write on, i managed to overcome this and continue writing.

anyway it has changed me in these ways...

1) more curious about the world. i'm more interested about different things and i get a lot more perspectives from other bloggers. and yes, getting good laughs from reading is just icing on the cake.

2) more adventurous...i'll be like...hey, this looks something fun to blog about...and then i go ahead and do it..haha

3) I think my english has relatively improved..esp. the writing bit. sure, i write in abbreviations and weird spellings...but the act of putting my thoughts to writing has improved.

4) Making new friends. i do tend to treat online friends through blogs or even forums as real friends. and if circumstances would allow us to meet...why not?

5) ya, addicted to the net. no internet is like being disconnected to the world. lol

TOPIC: GUYS AND WOMEN'S HANDBAGS

there was this recent mini debate on boyfriends carrying their girlfriend's handbag/bag. probably because she was lazy to carry it....or it was heavy...or she was carrying other stuff...or maybe just trying to 'test' her man.

some say the guy is a sissy for carrying silly girly handbags publicly.

some say the guy is a gentleman and that true secure guys won't be bothered by it.

personally, i would lean on the latter. however as a 'test' , i would love to roll my eyes at my girl and raise my eyebrows. lol ... oh and laziness is not a valid excuse. Go carry your own bag lah. YOU'RE the one who freakin bought it.
But i doubt my girl will be this kind....so i guess i'll be fine in the remaining circumstances. It'll probably make me feel uneasy at the start cuz i mean growing up in a macho environment since birth is hard to get away from.

what's your say? SISSY BOY? or HE's the MAN!!

oh ya, if ur a girl, do u actually 'command' your bf to carry your bag in public? why? hehe.

*sigh*

she has quit the blogging world.

the first friend i made here in xanga. a blog i grew to like. from mindless rants of daily life to hilarious commentary seemingly simple mundane things.

she actually read my blog...days when my blog was purely a chronicle of what i did that day, what i ate the day.....those kind of posts where people would generally don't give a care one bit. lol

well, i hope she returns to blogosphere one day.

what do u do/ how do u react when one of your  favorite bloggers/readers quit blogging altogether?  Do you beg them to return or somethin?

lol.so i dropped by my sitemeter and found my site got found in xanga by typing in 'nude.' . well, guess have to attribute that to SPG. w/c incidently was blasted by dennis keller as being narcisstic and i forgot...insecure or something. oh well, i think her blog is getting a lot of readers now. including me. not that i comment though. i tend not to comment on controversial blogs.

then again, aren't all bloggers a bit of themselves. we all crave attention don't we? but it's understandable. i mean, as insignificant as we may seem in this vast world, we do want to know that people DO know that we exist. lol

speaking of bloggers...it was amusing to see notable malaysian and sporean bloggers meeting up.

yeah, i'm referring to mr brown, xiaxue and kennysia. not so familiar with the rest though mr miyagi is somehow famous too.

hmm.... i don't think i'll reach celebrity status as a blogger. not that i want to anyway... haha

so meanwhile, i'll just amuse myself by finding hilarious and interesting blogs to read. :D

so...finally back in singapore...

holidays have just began. xD

i'm a bit sick but it's fine. oh well.

there was this controversy regarding a student model who posed nude in her blog. she made the papers and sent shocks to the blogosphere.

heh, wats the freakin big deal?

it was nowhere near porn. it was tastefully done. black and white.

she shows breasts...so??? is it such a terrible sight. the human body is a work of art. i see nothing wrong in flaunting it if you've got it.

yes, she's a student. but at 19, she's a blardy adult already...

plus she engages in professional nude modelling already as a sideline. As such she's comfortable in her skin.

ultra conservatism for singapore in the 21st century will not help them in their culture vibrancy in the near future.

**

do u think it's a crime to post nude pics of urself online?
